WELLNESS

Sensory immersion at the Caribbean's most considered new wellness destination

Founded by Peter and Shula Clarke, whose 35-year career spans seven award-winning spas, Meraki Wellness opened on Grand Cayman's Seven Mile Beach as the Caribbean's first purpose-built standalone wellness destination. Every element of the property, from architecture and air quality to light and sound, was conceived as part of a single coherent sensory experience, and music was central to that.

A dramatic, atmospheric view of a person receiving a luxury hydrotherapy massage treatment. The individual lies face down on a dark stone slab beneath a cascading stream of water from an overhead Vichy shower, with droplets spraying vividly against a dark background.

Sound shaped to match the depth of the experience

We defined a complete music identity for the property, working alongside the development team from the outset to achieve a new level of luxury experiential design.

Across the treatment suites, tepidarium, mineral pool and relaxation lounges, music was curated to move with the guest journey, shifting in pace, texture and tone as guests transition between spaces and states of mind. A bespoke composition sits at the centre of the identity, giving Meraki an original piece of music that is entirely its own.

A side profile portrait of a mature woman with her hair pulled back into a neat bun, sitting in a dimly lit, luxury thermal spa suite. Wearing a sleek dark one-piece swimsuit, she softly touches the strap on her shoulder while looking down thoughtfully, surrounded by modern black-tiled walls and steamy ambient lighting.

A neo-classical piece built around piano, sustained strings and unhurried space

Working from Meraki's values, we commissioned a bespoke composition and developed it with a composer chosen for their sensitivity to atmosphere and mood.

Using sparse melodic phrasing, warm string harmonics and subtle harmonic movement, the piece is used within the spa spaces’ curated playlists, on brand films and social - enhancing coherence and recognition.

CLIENT PERSPECTIVE

From the beginning, Music Concierge understood the heart of our brand, creating a bespoke musical expression at the heart of Meraki Wellness. The brand composition perfectly encapsulates who we are, helping us connect more effectively with our audience.
