Music Concierge intern programme
Music Concierge is looking to offer an unpaid internship to work as an assistant in our music department. You will learn about music profiling and work behind the scenes to create brand identity for our clients. This is a great entry level music experience role with opportunities to learn about the music industry.
Music Assistant role:
- volume levelling and editing of tracks (topping and tailing)
- calculating BPMs
- music research, tracking down the best new tracks for our library across all genres
- sourcing music for fashion and travel brands
- data entry eg researching track information
Skills required:
- a broad knowledge of music, we work with over 100 genres of music so a passion for music of all types is a must!
- you need to be PC literate and have excellent internet research skills
- experience and confidence in using Excel
- organised, diligent and able to work to tight deadlines
- basic music audio editing skills are an advantage (using software such as Sound Forge)
- most importantly you must have a good ear for music, we want someone who can easily work out the BPM of tracks with ease
The internship will be for two months and you will need to travel to our offices in Hertford working from 9am-6pm Monday to Thursday and 9am-5pm Fridays, you will need to have your own transport due to location. We will contribute £80 per week towards your travel and subsistence. You could also cycle from local railway stations.
